Doenjang jjigae
It is also known as soybean paste soup. The dish is normally served as the main course or as a side dish together with a meat course. The soup containts various types of vegetables, shellfish, tofu and sometimes small mussel, shrimp or anchovies. Anchovies are used for preparing base stock and before adding main ingredients, it is put out.

Gamjatang
It is a spicy soup that contians pork spine, vegetables and hot peppers. The vertebrae is often seperated. This dish is usually served as a late night snack but it can also be served for lunch or dinner.
