Rice Dishes
In Japan, rice has been the most important cuisine. Rice remains the most importane ingredient in Japan, in spite of the changes in eating patterns over the years and the slowly decreasing rice consumption.
Rice Bowl
A rice bowl is usually served as aside dish for kunch and dinner. Eating plain rice, mixed with a raw egg and soy sauce(tamago-kake-gohan), is a part of the traditional Japanese breakfast.
Sushi
Sushi can be defined as a dish which contains sushi rice, cooked rice that is prepared with sushi vinegar
Domburi
A bowl of rice with some other food put on top of the rice. Popular toppings are such as tempura (tendon), egg, chicken (oyakodon) and beef (gyudon).
Onigiri
It is actually rice balls made of cooked rice and it is normally wrappedwith a nori seaweed. These rice balls are slightly salted and usually contained additional fillings in the middle of it
Kare Raisu
Kare Raisu is cooked rice with curry sauce, also known as curry rice. It is sometimes served with other toopings such as tonkatsu. Curry is not a native Japanese spice, however, it has been used in Japan for more than a century. Kare Raisu is also one of the popular dishes among the Japan.
