Korean cuisine is based mainly on rice, noodles, meats and tofu. The food is normally seasoned with sesame oil, soy sauce, salt, garlic and ginger. Besides that, Korea is known as the largest consumer of garlic in Asia. Korean food are usually boiled , stir-fried, steamed or pan-fried, not deep-fried. A classic Korean meal would contain a selection of vegetables and is accompanied by a big bowl of hot soup or stew.

Rice
